On the move

I am so excited because Scott and I finally found a good apartment for us to move into. We've been looking for about a month, and we finally found it!! We've enjoyed our apartment we're in now, but we've outgrown it a little. It was great for when we were newlyweds, but with Samson, it feels a little small. We've needed a place that we could afford, had two bedrooms, and allowed dogs. I also hoped to find one with washer and dryer hookups, and a dishwasher. Thank goodness we found something with all of the above!! And one of the best things is that we'll be in the same neighborhood and the same ward!! We are so excited. We will be moving in the next few weeks. I'll try to take pictures and report updates. I'm sure we'll get at least one funny story from the experience!! Stay tuned...

Splashing, Giggles, Graduation, and more

Wow! I've been a bad blogger lately. Things have just been so crazy the last couple of weeks. I can't believe that it's already June!! That means that Sam is almost four months old. He is getting so big every day. He's really starting to get quite the personality. I love to watch him as he discovers things. Every time we go somewhere new, he tries to take everything in as fast as he can. His big eyes are going crazy! I love it!! Well, here are some pictures and videos of what we've been up to in that last couple of weeks!!

Samson likes to play "airplane" on our legs. We lay on our backs, and put Sam on our shins, and fly him around. He loves it!! He smiles every time!!

When Samson was first born, he hated bath time. Now that he's a little older, and it's warmer, he loves to take baths. Sometimes, he will be really fussy, and nothing can get him to stop crying except a bath. He will be screaming and crying, and then the second he feels that water, he's quiet. He's such a funny little boy. Here is a video of him splashing in the tub. The first one we tried to take, he started to pee right after Scott hit the button. I thought it was hilarious, but Scott erased it before I could stop him. But this is still pretty darn cute if I do say so myself!

We were getting ready to go somewhere one day, and neither one of us could hold Samson, so we put him on the couch. He got upset, and started crying. After a few minutes, he stopped, and when we checked on him, this is what we saw...

Last week, my brother and his family came into town, and as my sister-in-law, Jill, was holding Samson, she got him to giggle. This was the first time I'd heard him laugh like this, and I haven't been able to get him to do it since. I can get a few giggles here and there, but not nearly as much as in the video. He is so ticklish on his neck, but he loves to get kisses there from daddy!! What a sweet boy he is!!

I don't even remember what we were doing to get this picture. (That must mean we took it quite a while ago. Oops!!) I just think it's super cute!!

Last week, Scott's little brother, Brett, graduated from high school. It seems so crazy to me that he's that old! When Scott and I first started dating, Brett was in elementary school, now he's all graduated!! It was nice to be able to go and support Brett in this accomplishment. (Once we got in - we forgot our tickets, and had to run home to get them, so we were a little late.) Here is the graduate, and his proud older brother.

Well, that's the happenings of the Huish family in that last couple of weeks. I will try to be better at updating my blog more often. We tried to get a family picture yesterday, but Sam wasn't cooperating too well. I'll have to post some of our failed attempts when I transfer them to the computer. They're pretty funny!!
