Peek-a-Boo

I thought Samson how to play peek-a-boo with Hannah. They both love it!! I kinda do, too!

Let it snow!!

Scott took Samson out to play in the snow a little while ago. Let's just say, he loved it!!!

It's about dang time...

Wow!! It has been a really long time since I've blogged!! A lot has been going on in the past three months or so since the last post. My kids are growing up way too fast, and they really need to stop!!! I can't believe that Samson is almost three, and Hannah will be five months next week!! So, here are some things that have happened...

Samson really likes to help me in the kitchen. Every time he sees me doing something, he'll get his stool and stand by me and want to help. I've also taught him well about snitching. :) He helped me make a cake one day, and he couldn't wait to lick the bowl.

Hannah really likes taking baths. While I was getting Sam ready for a bath, Hannah had a poopy diaper, so I changed her and put her in her robe. She sat in her Bumbo and waited so patiently for Sam to be done so she could have her turn! I can't wait until she's bigger and I can bathe them together - it will make things so much easier!! :)
Samson likes me to take pictures of him and Hannah together. Whenever they are sitting next to each other, Sam will point to the camera for me to take a picture.
Hannah's just so cute! Don't you just love that smile?!
Hannah is so funny when she sleeps. It seems like she's always posing. Silly girl.
Sam loves his baby sister. He likes to hold her, and he takes very good care of her. He is a wonderful big brother!
One of my good friends gave me her excersauser that her little girl had out grown. Hannah wasn't too sure about it at first; she wasn't quite sure what to do. One day, though I think it just clicked for her, and now she loves playing in it.

We have to put lotion on Hannah almost constantly!! Her poor little skin is so dry. :( Samson tries to help sometimes...
Too cute not to put on here!! Samson has become quite the little photographer. He loves to take pictures with our camera! As long as he remembers to keep his fingers out of the way, he's actually pretty good. This is one he took of Hannah!
Chillin' with Daddy!
Scott talked me into getting a real Christmas tree this year. It was kinda fun finding one. I think it'll be a tradition for us now! :) Sam likes sitting in the front seat of the car. I let him sit there while we waited for Scott to get to the tree lot with the truck.
He is his father's son! Sam LOVES to watch Scott play football on his X-box 360. He even knows how to turn the machine on and get the tv to where it needs to be for him to play. Now he's figured out how to use the controller, too - kind of. Scott will get a game started for him, and Sam just randomly pushes buttons (that part he gets from me) :) It's really cute to watch him try to play like daddy!
Santa came to our ward party last week, and I wasn't sure how Sam would do. He did pretty good last year about sitting on Santa's lap, but I didn't know if he would remember. As we were waiting in line, we were trying to hype it up as much as possible. As soon as it was his turn, Samson walked right up to Santa, and climbed up on his lap. He was such a champ!! He told Santa that he wanted a football for Christmas.
Hannah did great with Santa as well. She didn't fuss one bit while Santa was holding her. I'm so glad my kids like Santa!! We'll see how long it lasts, though!! :)
Samson's new favorite thing is to help lock and unlock the door. He's actually quite good at it. He knows which key it is, and know exactly what to do. What a smart little boy I have!!
Papa and Sha Sha bought Sam a cute little suit for Christmas. They gave it to him early so he could wear it, and get some good use out of it. He looks like such a stud when he wears it. Last week, he and Sha Sha matched!!
This is another picture that Samson took with our camera. I thought it turned out pretty good - if I do say so myself!!
Things are well in the Huish house. We just keep chugging along. Scott works really hard to provide for us so that I can stay home with the kids. I am so grateful to him for all he does. I love my kids to pieces!! I can't imagine my life without them!!
